Rose is approximately 3 years old and weighs 40 pounds. She came into our rescue in December 2025, severely emaciated and with a broken leg. Just one week earlier, her 3-week-old puppies had been found abandoned in a box on the side of the road. Despite her difficult past, Rose has a loving personality and is ready to find a family of her own. Rose loves meeting new people and is very treat-motivated, making her eager to learn and a great candidate for continued training. She is housebroken, crate-trained, good with children and cats, and does best with puppies and small dogs. She can be nervous around dogs her size or larger, so slow, proper introductions would be important if introducing her to bigger dogs. Rose does experience some leash reactivity when other dogs pass by, which is her primary training need. To help her succeed, **Rose will come with paid personal training** to support her transition into her new home. Rose has overcome so much and deserves a family willing to give her patience, consistency, and love. If you're looking for a sweet, people-loving companion to welcome into your home, Rose may be the perfect match!
